Rescue Face Oil for Challenged Skin

Lavorelle is a proprietary blend formulated to address skin challenges such as blemishes, redness, and itching, through the power of key organic oils in our formula. The brand exemplifies the power of nature, most of which has been lost in today’s synthetic skincare world, but one we have recovered and brought back to life. Most oil blends on the market today contain ingredients intended to mask some natural scents and enhance others. We have chosen to keep those out of our formula, giving Lavorelle its unique earthy aroma and preserving its uniqueness.

Essential oils are potent little miracle workers, each with their own distinctive scent. From lavender’s sweet herbal notes and balsamic undertones used in perfumes, to oregano’s pungent spicy aroma reminiscent of the best Italian food you’ve ever had, they have been carefully blended to optimize their unique qualities.

No animal cruelty. Just plant power.

Jojoba

(simmondsia chinensis)

Jojoba, also known as coffeeberry, goat nut, deer nut, pignut, wild hazel, quinine nut, and gray box bush, is native to the Southwestern United States. It is a woody, evergreen shrub with thick, leathery, bluish-green leaves and dark brown nut-like fruit. In skincare, jojoba oil is one of the most popular carrier oils due to its hypoallergenic nature, moisturizing and antioxidant properties.

Argan

 (argania spinosa)

Argan is a genus of flowering plants containing the sole species argania spinosa, known as argan, a tree endemic to the calcareous semidesert Sous valley of southwestern Morocco. These trees can grow up to 33 feet high, have thorny trunks and widespread crowns. Argan oil is produced by the kernels of the tree and is one of the most popular carrier oils in skincare today mainly due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Oregano

(origanum vulgare)

Oregano is a stark green flowering plant in the mint family. It is native to temperate Western and Southwestern Eurasia as well as the Mediterranean region. A potent antimicrobial, this fragrant plant is often referred to as nature’s cure-all. Research has shown that the oil, which comes from the leaves and shoots of the plant, has antimicrobial, antiviral, and antifungal properties.

Lavender

(lavandula angustifolia)

A genus of 47 known species of flowering plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae, lavender is native to the Old World, with lavandula angustifolia being the most widely cultivated species. The oil is obtained through steam distillation of the lavender flower. Its versatility combined with a pleasant aroma and antiseptic properties make it a favorite for skincare products.

How it all started

Lavorelle was born out of necessity, which makes it a labor of that much more love. And compassion, let’s not leave compassion out. Our fearless founder had been battling skin challenges since her teenage years and finally in her 30s, when nothing else was helping, she refused to give up. She took the wellbeing of her skin into her own hands. Many months of research in the multi-faceted world of essential oils led her to create the custom blend we proudly call Lavorelle today. It has been almost 10 years since then and with the encouragement of family and friends who enjoyed the product through the years, she is finally sharing it with the rest of us.
